Procrastination is my biggest hurdle

Today is Saturday and I made a promise to myself that I would do my exercise before any other activity today. Procrastination is a big problem for me. I can lay in bed and visualize my day and all the things that I want to accomplish, but when I get up and get started I get sidetracked on either cleaning, laundry, reading blogs, etc. and I say to myself as soon as I get this project done I will get on the treadmill. By the time I'm ready to get on the treadmill I'm tired and don't push myself enough to get on it. I'm having a reality check today because I only have about 6 weeks to go before I'm at the Ridge and I haven't done everything that I promised myself that I would do. I'm not as far along as I wanted to be by now. Today is the day that I spend time on me and get the workout done before any housework. Who cares if the laundry doesn't get done I AM MORE IMPORTANT! OFF TO MY TREADMILL. : )

  2. I feel the same way. I go to FR in May, and I am gaining weight! UGH! I wanted to lose 20 lbs before going, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen. From everything I've read, exercising is the best thing you can do for yourself before going, so yay for you starting on the treadmill! I know it's so hard to get started, but you'll be well on your way by the time April rolls around. I look forward to reading your blog!

  8. Robbie, I am so glad Shelly sent this to me. You can count on me being one of your biggest cheerleaders!!! My memories of you and our families is something I hold very near to my heart. I know that you can do anything you set your mind to, your a "Haycock" and have a hugh support group, both here and on the other side. I look forward to following you along your journey.

We all have many things that we need to work on, me included.

Thank you for your kind comments and memories at my 1/2 century mark. You brought to my memory some very precious times and events, that I had forgotten. Yours and other brought many tears to my eyes.

I wish we could all get together for a summer like we had many years ago when we held the Bear Lake Games. Remember the wood medalions? Maybe some day.

I would love to make a closer contact. Send me an email and we will work it out..... charris@sasco.com

  10. Thanks annelise for your comment. I have been so busy with a play that just ended tonight, but I have been exercising. Just not blogging. I will be starting that again tomorrow. I love reading everyone's blogs because it is so motivating. Thanks again.

  11. Corey, It was so great to see your comment on my blog. I really appreciate the support. Wish I could have been at your 50th. I'm glad the buzzard is loving the warmth. I too would like to re-live some of those BearLake days. And, yes I do remember the wooden medallions. So fun. Love you.
